Who are Remarkable Adventures NZ?
This is a short summary to assist you with your interaction with us. Remarkable Adventures NZ
are run by a company called Adventure South Ltd. Geoff Gabites and John Gooding started the
company in 1992. Both are still actively involved in the company. This means that
one of us may answer the phone or email on your initial enquiry, or be one of your guides
on tour.
Supporting us over the summer months is a team of some 10-15 guides with some exciting,
specialist skills. First line of contact is likely to be Rachel Brownie our Customer Services
manager, or one of our administration staff: Ayaka or Ann. During the season
there will also be some additional, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff in the office
helping out.
After hours we switch the phone to our home number, which sometimes means that we have
conversations with clients late at night or at 5.30 am when they miscalculate the time

Just bear with us while we try to connect brain and speech centres after being dragged from
that period of deepest sleep!
